ABOUT DR. DANNY VINH

Dr. Danny Vinh has deep roots in Ottawa, where he was born and raised, and is proud to serve the community he grew up in. He completed his Bachelor of Science with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Ottawa, graduating with Highest Honours. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, where he graduated on the Dean’s Honours List in recognition of his academic excellence.

During his clinical externships, Dr. Vinh gained valuable experience in the diagnosis and management of various ocular conditions, including dry eye disease and diabetic retinopathy. He is committed to staying current with advancements in eye care and providing patients with the most effective, evidence-based treatments.

Dr. Vinh believes in providing personalized, patient-focused eye care. He enjoys working collaboratively with his patients, taking the time to explain findings and treatment options to ensure they feel informed and comfortable. His approach emphasizes open communication, education, and tailoring care to suit each individual’s lifestyle and visual needs.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Vinh enjoys playing sports like volleyball, staying fit at the gym, following professional sports—especially cheering on the Ottawa Senators—and spending quality time with family and friends. He also plays piano and guitar, and enjoys relaxing with video games in his spare time.
